Very clean, 5 minute drive to the waterfront. No complaints!
Quiet, Great place to stop on a driving trip up the New England coast.
I liked the convenience of the location and the price was unbelievable!
Pool and jacuzzi were nice options. Room was OK, nothing special.
Mattress wasn't comfortable for a sore back.
Good location relative to downtown and to the rest of the town. Great access to the major thoroughfares.
Right next to the highway and you hear the truck traffic throughout the night. But, this would not keep me from returning or recommending.
The location and the amenities.
The bed was extememly uncomfortable, causing a restless night's sleep. They have remodeled the rooms and they are very nicely appointed, but they should have also changed out the beds and pillows.
Friendly, helpful staff.
Smoking room requested on reservation, but was not so reserved by the hotel. Luckily, they were able to change this at check-in. Even though I smoke, the room smelled too heavily of smoke when we entered. They need to air out and spray with Fabreeze, or the like, between guests.
That the hotel staff was very effecient and on top of things.
I do not like the sinks outside of the bathroom. But was do able.
Friendly desk staff
It was most inconvenient having to lug my suitcase (and other items) up a flight of stairs (from a door at the back of the building) before I could use the elevator to go the rest of the way to my room. When I left, I considered dragging it through the whole building and going out via the front lobby, but as I was parked at the back it didn't seem worth it. This is a serious design flaw.
The desk staff was very friendly.
The room had a rather obnoxious odor and the bath towel from a previous occupant had not been removed. The complimentary continental breakfast was a nice touch but we found that a tour group completely monopolized the area even though they were not eating. We took our coffee and muffin to our room.
The room was spacious, clean and quiet (even though it overlooked the main highway). Clerk at check in was helpful, polite and efficient.
Loved the decor in the bathroom but the mirror (in order to fit with the decor) was too low for a six-footer to shave in. The room used for the continental breakfast was perfect -- unless there was a tourbus all trying to have breakfast at the same time. A separate room for the tourbus would have solved the issue. Because of construction/bridge closure, it was a little difficult to find. Once the construction is completed it might be easier to reach hotel. Check out clerk was difficult to understand and seemed quite rushed. Cannot say I'd recommend the hotel at this time.
This location was great for our visiting experience. Good access to I-95 as well as local main highways. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with directions. Room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the experience.
Slow arrival of hot water for showers.
poor customer service. our room smelt like smoke. then they over charged us
Friendly staff. Affordable.
The continental breakfast which was included had a small selection
it was a good price and close to our thursday and friday activities.
the breakfast selection was small.
The location to downtown Portsmouth, without being over the top in price, is excellent. Nice hot tub and indoor pool. Overall, the right place for the right price.
Our bathroom needed a better cleaning, but all-in-all, no complaints.
